From Little League standout to Director of Broadcasting and Media for the Cape Cod Baseball League, Josh Schreiber has always had a deep love for sports and storytelling. Now in his third season with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, Josh leads a team of media interns while calling games, conducting interviews, producing graphics, and ensuring high-quality broadcasts from one of the most prestigious summer leagues in the country.

Josh graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in May 2025 with a dual degree in Sport Management and Journalism. Ranked in the top 10% of his journalism class, he was inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha Honors Society and recognized for both academic excellence and hands-on broadcasting experience. At UMass, he served as the radio voice of UMass Women’s Basketball on 91.1 WMUA, calling over 75 games and spearheading a bi-weekly coach’s show. He was also a key contributor to the UMass Sports Network, directing and producing Division I broadcasts on ESPN+ and NESN.

Beyond the mic, Josh has built a versatile resume—hosting a podcast for the Midnight Ride Collective (UMass Football’s NIL group), contributing to UMass Baseball’s analytics team, and helping lead the Harbor Hawks to their first division title in over a decade through his work in baseball operations.

Whether calling the final seconds of a conference championship or building a broadcast from the ground up, Josh brings energy, professionalism, and a passion for connecting with audiences. When he’s not working a game, he’s probably playing one—or scouting out the next great ice cream spot.
